Currently serving as software engineering Co-op at UPS as well as UGRA at Social computing research lab...as well as TA for program design. 3 jobs, full-time student, lightwork. Been coding for over 6 years now and it's about time I put my skills to the test!

Experience

Software Engineering Co-op

UPS

12. 5. 2023 - Present

  • Engaged in a dynamic Agile environment, actively participating in daily SCRUM meetings with cross-functional teams while utilizing Azure DevOps for seamless project management and version control
  • Leveraged JetBrains DotMemory to analyze memory wastage and implemented efficient algorithms and object pooling techniques in a .NET C# application, resulting in a 30% reduction in memory use leading to an improved application performance
  • Demonstrated strong object-oriented design skills by introducing loose coupling in UPS software architecture, enabling writing unit tests across 13 repositories using Moq and MS Test, improving code coverage and elevating SonarQube releasability score from E to A
  • Optimized service communication by integrating Google Pub/Sub into various services using .NET client library, ensuring proper synchronization and message handling, resulting in enhanced service responsiveness, and optimized system efficiency

Research Developer

Social Computing Research Lab, USF

1. 1. 2023 - Present

  • Actively collaborated in an Agile environment on diverse projects involving full-stack development and artificial intelligence.
  • Utilized Puppeteer and Node.js to automate end-to-end testing of multiple dashboards, measuring and reporting the time taken to team using Email.js on a scheduled basis using Cron improving the team's efficiency and ensuring timely bug detection
  • Trained and maintained chatbot using Dialogflow API in Node.js and deployed it in a React website to provide information and improve customer support for interested users

Teaching Assistant

USF Department of Computer Science

1. 8. 2023 - Present

  • Organized office hours to assist students with projects in C programming and provided support with Unix command usage, debugged programming projects, graded exams and provided lessons to clarify understanding of Program Design in a class of 100+ students

Projects

Project 1 of 4: Employed Bulls

Collaborated with a team of 3 developers to design and develop a Full-stack web application that connects students with recruiters to facilitate on-campus recruitment Leveraged PostgreSQL, Node.js, and Express.js to develop the backend of the application, ensuring a scalable and secure architecture that enables seamless integration with the frontend and third-party APIs. Utilized Socket.io to implement real-time messaging between students and recruiters and integrated Google Cloud Vision API to automate the identity verification process, streamlining the registration process.

Project 2 of 4: Debug this Meme

-Built and designed a full-stack social media web application and mobile application dedicated for programmers to create and share programming-related memes or puns -Developed the web application using React.js working as the front end and implemented authentication using Context API while storing and retrieving data from MongoDB managed through a RESTful API that is designed by Node.js and Express.js to serve as the backend with functionality verified through Postman -Developed mobile application using React Native, making use of several React Hooks and third-party libraries and integrated it with Firebase Authentication, Firestore, and Storage

Project 3 of 4: Helpless-less

- Collaborated in a team of 4 to develop community service applications designed to strengthen the relationship within a neighborhood by connecting users with their neighbors using ZipCodeAPI - Contributed to the creation of Mobile application with frontend React Native and backend Firebase with the UI designed using Figma

Project 4 of 4: Uber Eats Clone App

Cloned the user-side of the Uber Eats app where user can look through restaurants in their city and order their favorite food - Designed and developed using React Native with a search location feature connected to GooglePlacesAPI to generate suggestions. Integrated Yard API which pulls out list of restaurants in the selected city for users to pick - Implemented add-to-cart feature using Redux and uploaded the order details into Firebase Firestore
